IRONY OF IRONIES

Hello again folks! Long time; no blog! Sometimes life is hectic and FULL! I have so much to write. I'm a veritable blog jam at the moment! One thing that I do wish to point out tonight is this strange [non] coincidence:

And that is that we have a surprise new Belgian EU President; Monsieur Herman van Rompuy - not Tony Blair [for now!] thank gooodness. Is it not an irony that one of the original and most vehement Europhiles was also a Belgian; Monsieur Paul-Henri Spaak who once uttered these infamous words:

"We do not want another committee. We have too many already. What we want is a man of sufficient stature to hold the allegiance of all people, and to lift us out of the economic morass in which we are sinking. Send us such a man and, be he God or the devil, we will receive him."

I wonder; is history repeating itself? George Santayana once famously said these wise words:

"Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it."

STATING THE OBVIOUS? [2]

Hello again folks! The two [2] tragedies in Afghanistan and in the US this week involving rogue policemen and imams has been extensively reported in the media:

But I haven't heard one news report qualifying that both perpetrators; a 'policeman' surnamed Gulbuddin and Major Nidal Malik Hasan; were muslims. Mr. Malik was heard to shout ' allah akbar' when he murdered those thirteen [13] soldiers in cold blood and sent them into eternity. It is commonly reported that this chant means: "god is great" - but it is actually better translated as "god is greater" - than the God of the Jews and Christians - in context. This is a common occurrence when jihadists do their stuff. Think about it: in killing innocents et al; these folks are arrogantly proclaiming their moon god allah is greater than YHWH. They are, of course, forgetting that YHWH is the Creator who actually made the Moon on Day #4! If only folks would check these things out for themselves and not believe every last word that these newscasters and politicians tell 'em. This is why YOU need to continue being Bereans! DO NOT BE DECEIVED! and watch that periphery!

THIS GENERATION?

Hello again folks! This is HW blog #400! I read this article in tonight's edition of Wolverhampton's "Express & Star" newspaper. It just about says it all about this generation:

"YOUNG THINK HITLER IS COACH

One in 20 UK schoolchildren think Adolf Hitler was a coach of the German football team, a survey has revealed. And one in six youngsters said they thought Auschwitz was a Second World War theme park. One in 20 said the Holocaust was a celebration at the end of the war. The survey for a veterans' charity also found one in 10 thought the SS stood for Enid Blyton's Secret Seven, and one in 12 believed that the Blitz was a clean-up after the Second World War. Scottish based charity Erskine, which provides nursing and medical care for veterans, said it would now educate schoolchildren. The charity questioned 2,000 children aged nine to 11. Major Jim Panton, chief executive of Erskine, said: "As we approach Remembrance Day it is hard to believe that 40 per cent of our children do not know when it is." [end quote]

THE RETURN OF CONTROVERSIAL KEITH [2]

Hello again folks! The pressure on True Christianity continues unabated it seems. Italy is banning the use of crosses &/or crucifixes in their schools and we now have a play in Glasgow about a transsexual Jesus [what next?]:

I don't see any such play being produced about Buddha or Mohammad and I haven't seen any sign of crescent moon symbols also being outlawed. What we are seeing is a kind of gradual 'creep' in the war against the followers of The Way.

For example; all this week we have had [so-called] humanists and atheists rolled out on Breakfast TV bemoaning Christmas and insisting that we have a 'winterfest' instead. Yes; the CoE has failed and Yes; the UK is no longer a 'Christian' country. But why don't these 'experts' also campaign for Ramadan to be moved to February and halved in length while they are at it?

The Fall of man has led to not only sin coming into the world and God's creation; it has meant that a generation-by-generation corruption of everything is upon us [read Romans 8] ... and it's getting worse. The cumulative effect of these corruptions is that folks get ill and they can be born with all kinds of 'defects' - and not all of them physical - some may be emotional or mental et al. Whilst I am unsure that someone can really be born 'gay'; I do consider that; as a result of the Fall; it is a possibility that there is a small proportion of folks who are genuinely and literally 'transsexual' .. or in the wrong gender body. But that doesn't justify outright blasphemy or trying to force ones condition onto Christianity and its Founder or force Christianity into their worldview.

God loves all fallen souls ... even Cliff Richard and Gordon Brown! He is Holy [separate from and high above His creation]. It's time for there to be an active campaign to stand up for True Christianity and the real LORD Jesus Christ - Son of God and Messiah and Saviour of mankind. R.I.P. UNITED KINGDOM

Hello again folks! Today we are gathered to witness the beginning of the end of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The Czechs have now finally surrendered to the intense pressure from the [non-democratic] European Union. The last obstacle was removed today by the Czech High Court:

I've already had friends and family consoling me on this dark, dark day. It's truly depressing but you can't stop prophecy being fulfilled in God's own time. On the other hand though; you can sure still exercise your free will [while you are still allowed it; I might add]. The main opposition political party [the 'Conservatives'] have now also betrayed the British people too and ruled out a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty [a.k.a. the EU constitution]. So the absolute treason of Gordon Brown is now complete. I, for one, will still urge folks to use their votes wisely in next years general election and vote for a party that is for Great Britain as a sovereign state and not a nine-region sub-state of the federal entity that is now the EU. Here is a quote from Gawain Towler of UKIP today:

"... those who believe in our country and our future must vote UKIP at next year's general election. At least people know that with UKIP, there is no doubting our commitment to the country. So how about it - let everybody know. Write to local papers and magazines, phone in radio chat shows ... Best of all talk to your friends ..." [end quote]

I do not want to stray into a party political broadcast but True Christians do indeed need to be informed too ... don't they? I am not of the opinion, as some would have it, that Christians can't be deceived ... they sure can. The best deceivers are [a] those deceived already themselves and [b] those who don't believe that they can be deceived! Remember: Jesus warns four [4] as much about deception in the last days as any other 'signs of the times' in the Olivet Discourse [please re-read Matthew chapters 24-25; Mark chapter 13; Luke chapter 21] ... and He was talking to believers!

Very gradually; the EU is taking over the previously independent and sovereign states of the continent of Europe. The history behind even the very word "Europa"is interesting too. Check out Wikipedia here:

CONCERNED ABOUT GREENBELT?

Hello again folks! Sally Richardson [God bless her] has sent me this interesting piece on the 'Christian' phenomenon that is 'Greenbelt'. As with all things; it should be read, digested and dealt with as you will. Speaking for myself; I was never really into the whole 'Greenbelt' thing - so I've always had an open mind on this festival .... until [maybe] now:

"... For many years I have been concerned about Greenbelt. What supposedly started as a Christian Music Festival in 1974 soon had problems. The only time I went to Greenbelt was in 1989, when I was asked to work for one of the Christian music publishers at the Festival. A number of things concerned me there, especially the amount of alcohol being consumed, and I believe I was not wrong in believing that drugs were circulating around the site. Over the years since I was there in 1989, it has got further away from any semblance of Christianity. An examination of the speakers and their subjects from this year should clearly show that this is no longer a Christian event in any way. Speakers included Gene Robinson, the gay priest who claims to be able to justify the practice of homosexuality from a Biblical viewpoint - he can't be using the same Bible I read. There were several Muslim and Hindu speakers, as well as a host of speakers standing up for the Palestinians and denouncing Israel. Though this festival has lost a lot of its influence, and the free Creation Fest run by Calvary Chapel is now having a greater and better influence among the young, Greenbelt still has influence among many Churches in this country. It has, in the past, nearly come to an end, but has just managed to find enough funds to continue. It is time that the 35 year history of Greenbelt comes to an end. The next Greenbelt festival is planned to take place between 27th and 30th August 2010 at ... Cheltenham Racecourse. I think it would be a good thing to pray that this will be cancelled. It is though, a sign of the end times that heresies will increase. I find this information highly unpleasant, and it grieves me greatly to see such things coming from a so-called "Christian" event. I don't mind you forwarding this email, but please consider prayerfully if you should forward it, and if so, to whom. If I find this upsetting to read, then I think, for some, it may be too much. I do not think that it is a bad thing to re-evaluate 'stuff' from time to time. Even 'Christian' staples like 'Greenbelt' or [so-called] 'Christian' personalities et al. 42 UP!

Hello again folks! Today [01-Nov-2009] I have hit 42 ... I can't believe that I was 21 half a lifetime ago ... so today I thought it poignant to take a fresh look at Psalm 42:

"As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?
