Hello again folks! Did you know that the Creator; the Saviour; the Redeemer; the Lord Jesus Christ is a God with a sense of humour and irony?

The Bible says that "He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them [those who oppose and plot against His Anointed; the Messiah] in derision." [Psalm 2:4]

Those of you who know the book of Job know that God had a kind of wager with satan over Job's heart and that; given the multitude of setbacks Job ultimately had; he would turn back from God and curse Him. So God allowed satan a degree of latitude to do his deeds and, in the end, God had the last laugh because Job's heart was right before his God - even after all his losses. He was not a failure as accused by Kenneth Copeland and his ilk - he was a faith hero.

So we know that God can turn around any seemingly hopeless situation and work it out for the good of those who love Him. And He has a great sense of irony and humour.

So I can imagine the hoots of laughter in the heavenlies when I discovered that the son of a leading Hamas figure in Judea and Samaria [the so-called "West Bank"] said in an interview with Ha'aretz that he has converted to Christianity and repented of his sins for being an active part of a culture of hate and death that targeted God's Chosen. Please read this report in 'Israel Today':-

We also know that when someone gets saved, Jesus said: "Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents." [Luke 15:10]. I'm sure it was a double celebration!

Miracles are still occurring; people are still being saved by grace. Praise God. Even sworn enemies of True Christianity and Israel. Right in the devil's backyard. I love God and love His ways. They are higher than our ways ... much higher and He makes me smile - especially when I hear these kind of testimonies! We have a wonderful God with a fantastic sense of irony and humour. Time to tell our lost family, friends and enemies about Him all the more. "Seek the Lord while He may still be found." [Isaiah 55:6]

God bless you and God bless Israel ... KeithJS ... 01-Aug-2008
