Hello again folks! Hot on the heels of the two [2] blogs that I published yesterday: 'Small Blog; Big Question' and 'Islam Rising' ... it came as no surprise to me to find out today that Dutch MP Geert Wilders, who published the film "Fitna" last year; has been banned from entering the UK because his presence [apparently?] "would endanger public security":
Yesterday I finally completed 'Islam Rising' after about a month of construction. I think it no coincidence that I got around to publishing it the day before this news 'broke'. In that blog I explored three [3] responses evident in the West to the advance of islam. If you read the above articles on the BBC News web-site you will discover that Mr. Wilders was invited to speak and show his film "Fitna" not by the BNP [CoE take notice] but UKIP peer; Lord Pearson.
Mr. Wilders received a letter from the British Embassy in the Netherlands telling him he would not be allowed into the UK as part of a blanket ban on him entering the UK under EU laws that enable member states to exclude someone whose presence could threaten public security. "The government opposes extremism in all forms," the Home Office said in a statement today. The Dutch government is reported to be trying to overturn the ban.
Labour peer Lord Ahmed, welcomed the decision to ban the MP, saying: "It would be unwise to have him in the UK because this man's presence would cause hatred."
So in the land of the mother of all parliaments and the progenitor of the 'Magna Carta' and 'democracy' [... and thanks to the EU]; the presence of this man exercising his right to express an opinion "would cause hatred" ... even if he is invited by a British parliamentarian [who is not a member of the BNP]. Once again; our government has submitted to islam via the muslim council of Britain [MCB]. So the MCB wins again.
Lord Pearson was correct in his assessment when he said that the decision to bar [Mr. Wilders] was "weak and unacceptable in the extreme" and "The Home Office is guilty of appeasement on this, clearly."
Now, if the mere presence of this man can cause so much "hatred" here in the UK because of a 17 minute film [] about the actions of 'extremist' muslims and islamists, showing actual footage of not only their deeds, but also they themselves quoting the koran at the same time in some cases; and if our government "... opposes extremism in all forms ..." - I have a few questions to ask:
  1. Do not true adherents of islam - who follow the same verses as quoted in "Fitna" [amongst others] to the letter "... cause hatred ..."?
  2. Does not true islam cause hatred toward Jews, Christians, other 'infidels' &/or those who wish to leave it behind or critique it as other religions are?
  3. How can this one man be such a threat when a man who shared his views; Dutch film director Theo Van Gough; was murdered by Mohammed Bouyeri [an islamic 'extremist' or 'fundamentalist' muslim] in 2004?
  4. Why is our government afraid to let its own citizens have the choice to decide and judge, for themselves, the claims and actions of islam without being censored?
  5. Why do we see this constant capitulation to islam in the UK; the EU and the West?

The answer to the last question is in part addressed in yesterdays blog. True Christians need to understand their enemy [or one of them]. It is not that the One True Triune God [YHWH] hates muslims; He hates any vehicle that leads countless billions of souls down the wide road to eternal destruction. True Salvation is only via the Messiah; the Lord Jesus [Yeshua] Christ; the risen Son of God [that islam denies]. I'll leave you with just one [1] quotation from the NT:

"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me." [John 14:6]

God bless you and God bless Israel ... KJS ... 11-Feb-2009
