Hello again folks! My good friend and brother David Hall over in Cyprus has posted a couple of noteworthy blogs today on his LIVING WATERS MINISTRIES CYPRUS blog spot:
While I do not wish to repeat Dave's comments on the above postings; I do wish to add a couple of salient points. The first is that we shouldn't be surprised at any apparent infighting in the muslim ranks. Islam has been at war with islam since the death of Mohammed. More sunni's have killed shi'ites [and vice versa] than in any civil war known to man. You need only look at the tit-for-tat massacres in Iraq over the last six [6] years for evidence of that.
My second point is with those clashes in Luton; can we identify the real, fundamentalist muslims and the 'apostates'? Before I answer that question; I wish to say that it is about time that British-born 'moderate' muslims got out on the streets to protest the actions of their 'brethren'. Now to the answer. The real muslims are those being protested against. They are following true islam; the teachings of the koran and the hadith. The protestors are to be admired but, in the grand scheme of things, they are compromising on some of the teachings of their founder.
Finally; we come to the decision by the BBC to pay out compensation to the MCB. I like 'Question Time'. I have seen some good debates; some very defensive/uncomfortable politicians and some wry humour. At times; some of the panelists comments have irked me and offended me and have insulted 'Christianity'. But that's the price of a 'free speaking' democracy - isn't it? But not when it comes to islam apparently. Criticism of islam in the West is being openly muted or repelled. One only needs to be reminded of the orchestrated reaction to the visit of Geert Wilders' earlier this year when he attempted to show and debate his film 'Fitna' at the House of Lords; after having been invited by UKIP's Lord Pearson. There are numerous other examples of the appeasement of islam; not only in the UK; but practically everywhere else in the West. This is the latest victory for islam in its 'jihad' for the hearts and minds of the West. Not all jihads are violent but the goal is the same. A worldwide caliphate and dhimmihood for any 'infidels'.
These are indeed dark and dangerous days for so-called 'free speech'. I'm convinced that roman catholicism and islam will be the joint drivers in the coming one world religion. Being a True Christian is about to get expensive and I'm not talking about money. Be Bereans; watchmen must warn; evangelists must compel.
God bless you and God bless Israel ... Keith J Sinclair ... 30-May-2009
