Hello again folks! My good friend Derek Bennett has posted a very interesting blog this week regarding some recent statement[s] made by one Charlie McCreevy; Ireland's EU Commissioner:
Basically Mr. McCreevy has stated that every political leader in Europe knows full well that a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty [a.k.a. the EU constitution] would have been rejected by 95% of the 27 member states and that their attitude [in refusing referendums in each of the EU member states] to its potential rejection by most of us rank and file European 'serfs' is "realistic and understanding". He also said that this "realistic" approach adopted by European leaders has led to them offering to assist Ireland as much as possible as the Irish government faced a second referendum on the treaty:
In other words, because most EU 'citizens' do not want an EU 'Beast' superstate; the movers and shakers behind "the project" dare not give the general populace the chance to demonstrate their democratic will. They have therefore resorted to good 'ol bribery and spin to 'persuade' our friends in the Irish free state to fall in line with their original intention by offering some 'concessions'.
It is the usual tactic employed by a budding dictatorship: Keep holding elections &/or referendums until you get the result you wanted in the first place! True democracy, however, is the other way around. This is indeed 'Important Election [3]' of 2009. And it is perhaps the most significant and important one too after the Israeli and EU parliamentary polls. Watch this space folks! Deception is rising. Be Bereans; watchmen must warn; evangelists must compel!
God bless you and God bless Israel ... Keith J Sinclair ... 30-June-2009
