Hello again folks! My good friend Sir Bob Mitchell [another living fossil!] has posted an thought provoking article regarding the presentation of the social gospel in lieu of the True Gospel:
That there are some really nice folks out there who are getting into this politically correct pseudo socio-gospel with good intentions is indeed a fact. But if it ain't the Real Deal; it can only be a counterfeit. And we all know who is a master at this kind of deception - don't we?
So my question today: "Is no Gospel better than any old 'gospel'?" is really an open-ended query. The True Gospel is very simple. It is not related to what we can do to make it more attractive to the world or dress it up. It is the production of the Author of Life and the Captain of Salvation. Jesus summed it up in one sentence when He uttered this immortal Word of Wisdom:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." [John 14:6]
You can't earn a gift. God gave it because you can't earn it. Be Bereans; watchmen must warn; evangelists must compel ... with the God breathed True Gospel ... not any old man-made gospel!
God bless you and God bless Israel ...Keith J Sinclair ... 02-July-2009
