TOWER OF BABEL PART III?

Hello again folks! I read an interesting 'news' article today about Dubai; New York and the United Nations. It is being reported that debt laden Dubai has offered the UN a new base within its jurisdiction within the United Arab Emirates [UAE]:
That the scenario may arise where the UN wants to leave its privileged position in NYC is newsworthy in and of itself. But that there is a [supposedly] a standing offer from a new prospective 'host' located not a million miles away from Babylon [Babel] in southern Iraq is even more eye opening. The similarities in Dubai's apparent debt crisis and the predicted financial ruin of political and religious Babylon in the Book of Revelation also strikes a chord.
Of course; there is the need to consider the other [existing] 'Tower of Babel' that is the EU Parliament building in Strasbourg, France and all the implications of that. Could it be that just as there are repeating and increasing fulfillments leading to an ultimate fulfillment in Jewish midrashic prophecy; that we may see different 'types' of Babylonian towers arising as the jigsaw pieces of end-time events are pieced together? I believe it's worth considering if nothing else. But a possible UN [world government] HQ in the vicinity of Babylon and Israel and actually located in the Middle East should not be ignored.
Those of you who are sold out on the pre-trib rapture THEORY and all of its eschatological implications can be somewhat 'straight-jacketed' into thinking that it's all been worked out by Bible prophecy 'experts'. It would indeed be healthy to have a crack at truly being biblical Bereans [Acts 17:11]. I really do think that a few shocks are in store before the Second Advent. Maybe this is one of them? Maybe not. But all of those folks out there with their cast-in-iron models should make sure that what they have been or are being taught is kosher.
The pre-trib rapture THEORY is implicit at best in the Word but it is not explicit by any stretch of the imagination. By the way - I loved the original 'Left Behind' book series and the motion pictures that ensued too! I just think the timing of the rapture was 'out' - that's all. I recommend that you 'keep an eye' on this under-reported story. Be Bereans; watchmen must warn; evangelists must compel; DO NOT BE DECEIVED! and watch that periphery!
God bless you and God bless Israel ... Keith JS ... 16-Jan-2010

I agree the your Tower of Babel comment.

However, in today's World. the language problem is still relevant and I believe that the World, now, needs a common, non-national, neutral language!

Why not teach such a language, in all countries, in all schools, worldwide?

The contest between English and Esperanto seems to be a David & Goliath situation. But don't forget who won in the end
