Hello again folks! In the calendar year 2009 the UK recorded a general government deficit of £159.2 billion, which was equivalent to 11.4 per cent of gross domestic product [GDP]. At the end of December 2009 general government debt was £950.4 billion, equivalent to 68.1% GDP:

Lord Pearson [UKIP Leader] today cited the Taxpayers Alliance in an interview on BBC News 24 that we pay the EU £45 million a day for our membership. Apparently; this equates to £118 billion a year when EU policies and regulations are taken into account [see above links]. That is nearly £2,000 per man, woman and child. Taking aside the politics; if we have such a huge national budget deficit which - with interest - is mushrooming daily, where is the logic with remaining in the EU?

Apart from the biblical worldview that I espouse w.r.t. the forthcoming Beast empire et al; this is one of the reasons that UKIP is right on the nail for Christians - in my personal opinion. Unnecessary debt is unbiblical on a personal and national basis - also in my opinion!

Real Bereans [Acts 17:11] are truly needed; watchmen must warn; evangelists must compel; DO NOT BE DECEIVED and watch that periphery!

God bless you and God bless Israel ... Keith JS ... 23-April-2010
