Hello again folks! I've been driving around the last few weeks listening to ELO Part II's eponymously titled first album from 1991. Apart from the much under-rated Eric Troyer classic track: "Honest Men" - I just love the 1:15 long ditty at the beginning of the album entitled: "Hello Hello" and co-written by Bev Bevan; Neil Lockwood; Pete Haycock and Eric Troyer. The lyrics are jolly and uplifting:

"Hello, Hello, it's great to see you once again,
It's been so long,
We were such friends,
A long long time ago.

Hello, Hello, your smiling face,
Your warm embrace,
We've been apart for far too long,
It felt so wrong.

Nice to know, you're coming over
Nice to know, the wait is over.

Hello, Hello, is that a smile on your face
Here's a kiss, Just in case,
This one's for you,

Hello, Hello, it's great to see you once again
It's been so long,
We were such friends,
A long long time ago."
[end quote]

This little song reminds me of the value of friendship; the importance of reacquainting ourselves with old friends and how we often forget to thank God for the most obvious things in life. When is the time you or I actually, genuinely, in a heartfelt manner - greeted someone? Sometimes we miss the little things that mean so much eh?

Real Bereans [Acts 17:11] are truly needed; watchmen must warn; evangelists must compel; DO NOT BE DECEIVED and watch that periphery!

God bless you and God bless Israel ... Keith JS ... 10-April-2010
