ANOTHER QUESTION FOR YOU
Hello again folks! In Israel; their nuclear deterrent is called something like the 'Samson Option'. What it means is that if all else fails and it looks like her enemies are about to over-run Heretz Israel and in order to have the ultimate defensive weapon; Israel will use it to ensure the destruction of her immediate enemies and the ultimate preservation of her land and people. Despite the fact that we have seen various wars and campaigns [all instituted by her 'neighbours'] in 1948; 1967; 1973; 1982; 2006 et al; one of the reasons [beside the judgement of God] is that these conflicts have been truncated is the fact that Israel has a very real and present and effective nuclear armoury.
My other question for you today is this: How do you go about 'persuading' Israel to give up her nuclear defence option? If you read the above news article; it appears that the new tactic is to 'negotiate' a [so-called] regional 'nuclear free zone'.
It appears a noble a just cause. But the western mindset is [as ever] all wrong about the islamic/arab/middle-eastern mindset. Whether the West is deliberately ignorant or outrightly conspirative remains to be seen. Are they daft or devious? Me thinx the latter. What they will not or cannot fathom out is that in islam; one is permitted to sign covenants ['peace deals'] et al and lie to the back teeth to your enemy [or the enemy of allah] if it means gaining an advantage over your enemies in the short term looking towards a victory over the medium or even long term. Being as President Mubarack Hussein Obama is an admitted muslim; it is not beyond comprehension that he could employ islamic battle strategies [political ones et al] in supposedly 'winning the peace'.
On the other hand; if Israel ceased to have that nuclear option; the way would be a lot clearer for her avowed muslim enemies [and neighbours] to carry out their goal[s]. Remember that the Hamas charter IS the destruction of Israel. Why not check out Hezbollah's charter or the policies of Syria or Lebanon to name a few?
It is very important that, in these interesting times, True believers also keep an eye on Israel and specifically Jerusalem - especially while there are such high profile 'other' news stories [i.e. the General Election; the Greek crisis et al]. At the same time - what marvellous opportunities there are these days to witness to the veracity of the Word and the victory of the Cross? Real Bereans [Acts 17:11] are truly needed; watchmen must warn; evangelists must compel; DO NOT BE DECEIVED and watch that periphery!
