LIB-LAB-CONNED AGAIN!

Hello again folks! I am so pleased that Nigel Farage [of UKIP fame] survived that 'plane crash last week and seemingly miraculously walked away from it; and also that he is making a steady recovery. I note with interest that those folks in the UK who voted Labour got Lib-Conned; that those who voted Lib Dem nearly got a Labour government anyway but now has a Conservative one; and that those who voted for the Cons almost gained defeat out of victory and ended up with the Lib Dems as bedfellows. It's confusing isn't it?

We now have David Cameron as PM who; if he had offered a referendum on our membership of the EU; would have almost certainly gained a working majority anyway. It is of interest to this writer that the Daily Mail reported at the weekend that the Tories failed to win between ten [10] and twenty-one [21] seats because of the UKIP vote. For me; the UK General Election produced a positive result for UKIP.

I had a look at the national voting figures for the 2009 European elections and the 2010 General Election. In 2009; UKIP came second with 2,498,226 votes. But did you know that UKIP polled fourth place in last weeks vote with 917,832 votes ... miles ahead of the BNP; SNP; Plaid Cymru; Ulster Unionists and the Monster Raving Loony Party[!!!] but without a single MP? Yet the general populace of the UK now has a coalition of sorts and the voting system is going to be tweaked at the behest of the Limp Lettuce Democrats! You know; I don't think PR is a bad thing if UKIP get some fair representation out of it. After all; we have a total of 28 MP's from 'other' parties who all polled less than UKIP yet we have 13 UKIP MEP's!

My point is is this: Once again the topic of 'Europe' [i.e. our membership of the EU] has been deliberately omitted and ignored by the [so-called] 'main' parties in the election campaign and by the [so-called] political pundits; mass media et al. We've literally been Lib-Lab-Conned again! This is not a party political broadcast by the way. Just some KJS musing on temporal politics amidst all the hype; deceit and bluster of the recent election.

Real Bereans [Acts 17:11] are truly needed; watchmen must warn; evangelists must compel; DO NOT BE DECEIVED and watch that periphery!

God bless you and God bless Israel ... Keith JS ... 11-May-2010
