Hello again folks! Of course it was wrong of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef to say what he said the other day regarding Mahmoud Abbas and the 'palestinian' people thereupon. We know that God is against those who hate Israel [the apple of His eye] but we also know that in His long suffering grace; He is not willing that any [Jews or muslims or others] should perish:

The above statement from Israel Today article should be read in addition to the international furore against the Rabbi's comments and puts the whole debate in a more balanced state:

"The level of hypocrisy in the Palestinian reactions was astounding, considering the documented calls to murder not only Israelis but all Jews that are made in Palestinian mosques every Friday. Often those murderous Islamic sermons are broadcast on official Palestinian Authority television. On top of that, the Palestinian education system continues to demonize Israel and the Jews, and PA-sponsored summer camps, public squares and soccer teams are still being named after the terrorists who have managed to murder the most Israeli Jews. Case in point - at least two Palestinian summer camps this year were named after Dalal Mughrabi, the female terrorist who led the 1978 Coastal Road Massacre in which 37 Israelis were killed, the single largest terrorist attack in Israel's history. Abbas also hosted a Ramallah street party that honored Mughrabi, and earlier renamed one of the de facto Palestinian capital's streets after the murderess. The difference between Rabbi Yosef's remarks and the incitement practiced by the Palestinian Authority is that Yosef was asking God to deal with Israel's enemies, while the Palestinians are being encouraged to themselves take up arms and kill Jews."
[end quote]

In light of the murder of four [4] Israelis in the [so-called] 'West Bank' this week; this tension is likely to increase. The only real shalom peace is going to come about via Messiah Yeshua. The State of Israel is basically secular and atheistic at present. It represents the breathless bones and sinews of those 'Dry Bones' as prophesied by Ezekiel. We see the falling short of the thoughts and intents of man's heart; soul and his religion when we look at the scenario between the Israelis and the [so-called] palestinians. It is this tension and the repeated pressure by certain interested groups that will lead to the dreaded covenant of Sheol [death]. Of course; the statements by the Rabbi and those of the imams are wrong and immoral. But without Yeshua as the lynch pin of both their mutual reconciliation and salvation; both the Jews and 'palestinians' will ever be at odds. In the days ahead; we should not be surprised by any increase in the rhetoric between the sides leading up the [public] arrival of the AC - whoever he may turn out to be.

Real Bereans [Acts 17:11] are truly needed; watchmen must warn; evangelists must compel; DO NOT BE DECEIVED and watch that periphery!

God bless you and God bless Israel ... KJS ... 01-Sep-2010
