HYPER-INFLATION AND WEDDING FEES

Hello again folks! One of my sources in the Church of England has advised me that there is a 'drive' on to increase wedding fees et al by up to 50% at present. Whether or not you agree with state-aligned religion; I thought this news interesting because at a time when there all kinds of inflationary pressures and the pressure on 'Christian' marriage is overflowing; our friends in the CoE put some more pressure in the pot.

Is it any wonder that the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is in such a state? No church should be run as a business - but many are these days it seems - and not only the CoE. Bring back home churches before it's too late!!!

Real Bereans [Acts 17:11] are truly needed; watchmen must warn; evangelists must compel; DO NOT BE DECEIVED and watch that periphery!

God bless you and God bless Israel ... KJS ... 23-Jan-2011

Sadly, I concluded some time ago that "institutional" churches have always existed as businesses, even if this was not done in a blatant way... We usually only tend to notice the business aspect of these institutions when they find themselves in a finanical pickle, and thus have to make some kind of policy change in order to stay in the black...

In my opinion, the fact that churches charge anything to do anything is evidence of the worldly nature of such organizations, and a bad witness...

I do believe that house churches are going to increase however, if not so much by choice, but by necessity...
