Hello again folks! My good friend Joanna Livermore asked me at a recent 'Beatles Blues and Blue Violin' [BBBV] gig in Shrewsbury to put up a post here on KJS-HW to highlight the campaign that she is involved with over in Mid-Wales that is close to her heart - and more worryingly for the rest of us - more relevant than it seems at first glance. The lack of a cohesive energy policy in the UK hides behind a more sinister agenda that appears to forcefully promote wind power to appease the 'Gaia' green agenda more than anything else:

"You may have seen it on TV or read about it in the newspapers. Mid-Wales and Shropshire are under threat by the National Grid to erect massive 165 foot pylons across the countryside. This will have a devastating effect on the tourism industry as well as the health of the local population. I, two of my children and their families will be affected; as will so many other people I know stretching in both directions into Shropshire and into Wales. Mid-Wales has amazing scenery - as does Shropshire. Both have beautiful walks. This is their pulling power - and as a result - we have a healthy tourist industry. If the pylons were to go ahead, then some of the most beautiful sites in Mid-Wales and Shropshire will be destroyed forever. We have a huge fight on our hands, because the National Grid [a privately owned company with nothing national about it at all] is deaf to suggestions of putting the cables underground with the GIL method.

I realise that some of you don't live in Shropshire or Wales, but many of you have been here for holidays et al. Please look at the website and/or write a letter of objection to the National Grid:

There are six [6] sample letters to choose from [if you don't want to create your own] and they are all available to download. The aim is to get 100,000 letters and 100,000 signatures by 24-May-2011. Our petition has to be submitted by 03-June-2011; so we have made 24-May-2011 our goal. You don't need to be a resident here to write a letter of objection. As you know ... it looks as though our [locality] would be the preferred route as it is the shortest; but there are three [3] choices of corridors, and each 'corridor' contains potentially three [3] or four [4] routes. One of these pylons would be less than 200 metres away from my house, and adjacent to the garden of some of my friends. A few miles away; four [4] houses have a pylon in the field next to them - but not a 165 foot tall one. At least one member of each of the residents in those houses is presently fighting cancer. The National Grid do their own studies and refute that the pylons cause cancer. But we can produce the proof in cancer patients [still] standing on two legs who live in close proximity to the pylons. Please; Please; Please write a letter of objection! Ask husbands, wives, children, aunts, uncles and/or friends to write. The address is on the website mentioned above and is:

FREEPOST National Grid; Mid Wales Connection.

Please will you put something up on your blog regarding the futility of wind farms. We are going to be affected because if these huge pylons are erected - our health will be endangered and what little industry we have in tourism will be forever spoiled - in order to carry energy. The link below is for a similar campaign in North Somerset and shows what lies ahead for us. At least we have some kind of warning; so hopefully we will be forewarned and ready" [end quote]:

DECEPTION is the name of the game in the Last Days. Real Bereans [Acts 17:11] are truly needed; watchmen must warn; evangelists must compel; DO NOT BE DECEIVED and watch that periphery!

God bless you and God bless Israel ... KJS ... 13-Apr-2011
