Resurrection Sunday Salutations

Hello again folks! Today is Resurrection Sunday. It's a time of new beginnings, a time of renewed hope and a time to express our endless gratitude to the LORD Jesus Christ for what He achieved by dying in our place on the cross and in rising from the tomb circa 6th April AD32.

We have so much to be grateful for. Our lives, our families, our home, our jobs, our many blessings. Above all that is that we must never take for granted God's grace or the enormous cost of the True Salvation that He wrought for us while we were still far off.

I'm acutely reminded today of the wonderful if not miraculous way in which the LORD facilitated my flying five (5) day visit to Jerusalem back in late May 2008 with my good friends Bob Mitchell and Bob Waughman whereupon I got to visit the garden tomb and see Golgotha for myself. Almost twelve (12) years later, Bob (Mitchell) stills reminds this writer how often I muttered "I can't believe that I'm here!" in Israel when we talk to each other!

God has blessed me more times than I can remember or count. I've been an awful Christian and very much a prodigal in many ways but I'm still here. As I write this article, I'm welling up with deep thankfulness to the LORD for what He was done for me and what He will yet do with me. In these days of deception and double talk, we should seek the LORD with an unfettered passion and insist on drawing close to Him ... while we still can, for the time of His return is shortening.

"Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near." (Isaiah 55:6)

"Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3)
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31)
"Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13)

Real Bereans (Acts 17:11) are truly needed, watchmen must WARN, evangelists must COMPEL, do not be DECEIVED and WATCH that PERIPHERY!

God bless you and God bless Israel ... KJS ... 12-Apr-2020
